BAMM!TM, is the acronym for ‘BUST-A-Move-Monday’!TM and is the ministry mission of The New Olivet Baptist Church to create and re-create wealth in the black community.   This wealth is not just for this generation--but also for the generations to come.

Each month, on a specified Monday, this congregation, along with other community supporters, patronizes a designated black-owned business.  This program has not only afforded black business owners the opportunity to reach an entirely new audience; but, in many cases has tripled or quadrupled their normal receipts.

The keynote speaker for the conference will be the nationally known economist, author and president of the PowerNomics® Corporation of America, Dr. Claud Anderson.  To his credit are the thought-evoking books; ‘Black Labor, White Wealth: Search for Power and Economic Justice’;  ‘Dirty Little Secrets about Black History, Its Heroes and Other Troublemakers’ and what has been called “the action plan in this trilogy, ‘PowerNomics: the National Plan to Empower Black America’ PowerNomics sets forth a five-year national plan in education, economics, and politics and outlines a new role for Black religious organizations.  His ideas have begun to ignite a national movement of reform among blacks.  Attendee will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops and gather information from business consultants, accountants and attorneys on the do’s & don’ts of doing business.

This conference will serve as an excellent springboard for current business owners, those seeking information on starting a business and persons searching for resources to improve their personal financial status. But the crucial and vital TARGET audience for this Conference is Churches, Church Workers, Church Goers, Church Pastors, and every person who believes it's God's will for God's people to prosper!   There is no cost to attend this conference.  However, seating will be limited.

Interested parties are encouraged to contact the church office for additional information at (901) 454-7777 or visit the church web-site at www.olivetbc.com for the conference link.
